Sonance was formed in 1983 when founders Scott Struthers and Geoff Spencer saw the need for an audio solution that revolutionised noise control.
No product or system existed that could deliver unsurpassed acoustic performance with minimal visual intrusion. This led the founders to create architectural speakers. Today, Sonance is still run independently and is headquartered in San Clemente, California. This is where the company first started.
