Create an Amazon Alexa command that is unique to you.
Here’s how to create a custom Alexa command step by step. These commands are simple to make and really useful around the home.
Step 1: Open the Alexa menu and go to the ‘Routines’ section.
In the Amazon Alexa App menu, go to the Routines area.Step 2: To create a new Routine, click the Plus symbol in the upper right corner.
When you access the routines section, you’ll get a list of all the routines that are enabled or disabled. To add a new routine, click the “+” button in the upper right corner.
Step 3: To construct your own Amazon Alexa command, choose “When this occurs” and then “Voice.”
Create the trigger for the routine to begin with. This is in the menu’s “when this occurs” section. Second, for your routine, build a voice or time-based trigger. We’re going to create a custom voice command for this procedure.
Step 4: To start the program, type in your personalized phrase.
To begin the process, type in your own phrase, which will be the voice command you give Alexa. Put a comma after your statement, not a period.

Step 8: Go through your Alexa routine again and put it to the test.
In the enabled routines area, your routine should be listed. Speak your routine to Alexa to see whether it works.
