If you’re using a battery-operated Ring Doorbell, consider moving it closer to your WiFi network and resetting it. If it works, you’ll know that you need to boost your WiFi signal strength.

To link your device to your WiFi network, you must first activate the Ring Doorbell setup mode. Remove the faceplate from your Ring Doorbell to enter setup mode.
To begin, unscrew the security screw from the doorbell’s bottom. The screwdriver that comes with your Ring Doorbell may be used. If you don’t have the screwdriver, a Torx screwdriver that fits your doorbell will suffice. At your local hardware shop, you can purchase inexpensive kits that include numerous Torx bits.
Remove the security screw from the Ring Doorbell.
